Jim Bush
Owner
Jim Bush is a former US Marine and Retired Engineer. His love for animals and desire to provide the best pet facility in the Rocky Mountain West has resulted in the construction of Happy Trails Pet Spa.
Jim has loved, bred, shown, and trained dogs since his youth in central Iowa. This facility is his dream to provide the most comfortable, cleanest, safest, and most home like location for your pet boarding, grooming, and training in Colorado.

Nealy Piazza
Kennel Manager
Nealy Piazza is the kennel manager as well as the massage and acupressure therapist at Happy Trails Pet Spa and Resort. She is certified through the Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage in both canine and equine techniques, as well as Reiki.
She has been actively involved with horses and natural horsemanship for over 30 years and was involved with the family dog kennel, Coblr Corgis, throughout grade school and high school. Her interest in animal wellness grew out of these experiences, and much of her college education revolved around animal physiology and nutrition.
Massage and acupressure was the perfect fit and she thoroughly enjoys giving animals the benefit of hands on and whole body healing treatments.

Giena Zeches
Receptionist/Trainer
Giena Zeches is the Receptionist at Happy Trails, as well as Owner/Trainer of Colorado K-9 Obedience. When she's not taking reservations and filing vaccination records, Giena enjoys teaching obedience classes for all breeds and disciplines. She personally oversees the education of both owner and canine, ensuring each team excels to their highest potential.
Giena has been training dogs for 10 years now and teaches classes in competitive obedience, schutzhund/personal protection dogs, tracking, agility, weight pull, conformation, and much more. Most importantly, Giena loves her job and cares equally for each and every dog at Happy Trails Pet Spa & Resort. She hopes to meet you and your canine soon!

Carrie Harmon
Professional Pet Groomer
Carrie Harmon is the groomer here at Happy Trails Pet Spa & Resort. She graduated from Classy Pet Grooming School here in Loveland in 2008 and knows all breed cuts as well as standard cuts. She has always loved animals and wanted to get into a career where she could be with dogs and bond with them. Grooming was the perfect opportunity for her!
Carrie has been with Happy Trails for two years and has a six year old Malamute named Bandit. She likes to walk and ride her bike with Bandit when she isn't grooming and loves all the ourdoor activites Colorado has to offer.

Natessa Callahan
Kennel Assistant
Natessa Callahan has been working in pet kennels (not just for dogs), as well as washing and drying animals, from dogs and cats to rabbits and ferrets, for over 7 years. She has been a member of the Happy Trails family for over 2 of those years. Her life has been filled with love for all kinds of animals and her home has been shared with the usual cats (her favorite is Oscar, a black Burmese/Tabby mix cat) and dogs. But she has also welcomed turtles, fish, and iguanas.
Natessa lives in Fort Collins with her husband, Scott, and their dog, Bruno, a lab mix. She is a student at the University of Northern Colorado and will be graduating December 2011 with a Bachelors in Psychology.

Trinity Phillips
Kennel Assistant
Trinity Phillips is a current CSU student, majoring in English Education with a minor in Anthropology. She has been working in kennels and daycares since her sophomore year of high school, making it a little over seven years now.
Her sheltie, Kohaku, has his MACH (championship) in agility, and has also been trained in obedience.

Stacey Waldfogel

For as long as I can remember I have been passionate about caring for animals. In my adult life many rescue dogs have found their way to our house. My husband and I even had a sled dog team.
Currently I have two great Danes, chickens, compost with worms and breed angora rabbits. In my down time I enjoy gardening, crafts, and working towards a more sustainable lifestyle which as inspired me to learn about holistic care for humans and animals. You can find out more about me at

Before moving to Colorado, Sarah worked in pet care in Orange County. She grew up raising, caring for, and loving all types of animals.
Sarah graduated college with a degree in History and Political Science. Currently, she lives in Milliken with her Sheltie, Laddie, and Old English Sheepdog, Daisy. |
